This explains what we collect, why we need it, and what you can ask us to do with it. If anything here is unclear, write to us and we'll answer plainly.
What we collect
To create an account: your name, email address, and mobile number.
Before your first rental: your driving licence and one government photo ID. We are legally required to confirm that whoever rides a vehicle is licensed to do so.
When you book: the dates, the vehicle, and payment details handled entirely by our payment provider. We never see or store your card number.
If you list vehicles with us: your business details, PAN, and vehicle documents.
What we do with ID documents
Documents are stored in private encrypted storage. They are not publicly accessible and cannot be reached by a URL. Only you and the staff member reviewing your verification can open them, and every access is logged.
We store only the last four digits of ID numbers, alongside a one-way cryptographic hash used to detect the same licence being registered on multiple accounts. We do not keep the full number.
What we never do
We don't sell your data. We don't share your contact details with vehicle owners — they see only your name, so they know who to hand the bike to. We don't send marketing messages you didn't ask for.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Deletion is subject to one limit: records tied to a completed rental — invoices, payments, and the rental agreement — are retained as long as tax and legal requirements demand.
Contact
Email [email protected] with anything about your data. We reply within three working days.
